The Canadian Committee for World Press Freedom (CCWPF) will hold its 11th annual luncheon at the National Arts Centre at noon on Tuesday, May 5th.
Moderated by the CBC’s Don Newman, the feature speaker is Globe & Mail correspondent Graeme Smith discussing “The dangerous and confusing search for truth in Afghanistan.”
The CCWPF’s annual free expression award will be presented along with the award for the 9th International Cartoon Competition on the theme of “Protecting privacy?” Cartoons will be exhibited.
