12th ANNUAL CCWPF PRESS FREEDOM AWARD
Call for Nominations

The winner of the Award will receive $2000, a certificate from the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, a crystal trophy and will be brought to the World Press Freedom Day Luncheon in Ottawa to receive his/her award on Monday, May 3, 2010.
1.  The CCWPF Press Freedom Award is to a journalist(s) or media worker(s) who has made a significant contribution to Freedom of Expression through Canadian print or electronic media during the last 15 months.
2.    Nominations should include a description of the candidate’s merits. Supporting material is an advantage.
3.    A professional journalist’s support of the nomination is desirable.
4.   The deadline to receive nominations: Wednesday, March 31, 2010
5.   A CCWPF Committee will select the winner of the competition.
